The house is equipped with heating and airconditioning. You will find this to be a perfect place for a romantic holiday, or if you are just looking for a place of beauty where you can relax and enjoy nature. You will be living in an area of great historic and artistic interest. The house sits on the property owned by the Gorelli’s family. It is a working farm, filled with olive groves, wineyards, as well as a garden with many varieties of ornamental plants.

An 18th century country house set amidst the verdent hills of the route of the Noble Montepulciano wine.
Surrounded by a park with swimming pool, “La Casa delle Querce” sits on a hillock between olive groves and vineyards in the sublime simplicity of the Tuscan countryside.

The house in typical red clay brick, was converted in 1990 into the present “La Casa delle Querce” after a careful restauration mantaining all the original architectural features.

Our farmhouse La Bruciata is located 2 km from Montepulciano (known as “The Pearl of the 16th Century”) in the province of Siena, in the direction of Pienza.

It is situated in a strategic and central position to visit the heart of Tuscany and takes its name from the farm located on the edge of the “Poliziano” territory, which faces the gentle and spectacular hills of the Val d’Orcia. The Artistic Natural and Cultural Park of the Val d’Orcia is a World Heritage Site where the dominant element of the landscape is a clay soil which lies bare forming the famous “lunar landscape” (Crete Senesi).

Tenuta Valdipiatta is an estate vineyard and winery in south-eastern Tuscany, in the heart of Italy’s Vino Nobile di Montepulciano region. Montepulciano has over 2,500 years of wine-growing history. Its red wines are made from Italy’s signature red wine grape, the Sangiovese, or ‘Prugnolo’ as locals call it here. Valdipiatta has always been family owned. It was founded in the 1960’s by the original owner and subsequently acquired at the end of the 1980’s by Giulio Caporali, who fulfilled his dream of living in one of Tuscany’s most beautifully preserved, rural environments while making his own wine.
