Thanks to its privileged and solitary position atop a hill with a 360° panoramic view, La Fraternita enjoys an extraordinary landscape framed by Montepulciano, Montefollonico, and the striking and wonderful Val di Chiana with a view over Cortona and on the Apennines on the horizon.

The Agriturismo La Fraternita, embedded within the splendid scenery between the Val di Chiana and the Val D’Orcia, is only 3 km from Montepulciano, a precious Italian Medieval and Renaissance jewel of a city that is admired world-wide for its spectacular culture, art, nature and cuisine. Also, let us not forget the Vino Nobile, one of Tuscanys’ most appreciated wines.

Built as a convent at the end of the 18th century, the structure was transformed and used as an agricultural cottage at the beginning of the 20th century. Successively it has been integrated in the Cugusi family business, occupied for centuries with the cultivation of cereals, olives, pastures, sheep-breeding and the production of “Pecorino” cheese.

At the end of the seventies an accurate and masterly renovation allowed to maintain the charm and the peculiarity of the cottage in full respect for the local tradition. The wooden ceilings, the Tuscan terracotta tiles flooring, the choice of furnishings … everything contributes to ceate a cozy and familiar atmosphere.

Out of the cottage have been made three apartments, completely independent, with spacious rooms inside as well as outside, which allow enjoying a holiday in full independence and intimacy.

Furthermore, in the garden in front of the house, the guests have at their disposal: the swimming pool with deckchairs and parasol, the covered parking and the barbecue. Thanks to the arrangement of the apartments, everyone at its own side of the cottage, with its own space and an equipped pergola, which guarantee the independence and intimacy of the guests.
